Back from the Land of Blue Sky

We've just come back from a fantastic two-week trip to Mongolia. This was the fulfillment of an eight-year dream we've had to visit the home of Genghis Khan, and it was everything we'd hoped it would be. We took more than 1,800 pictures and have pages and pages of stories to tell, so stay tuned for lots of Mongol-related news on the blog over the next few weeks!

Update: Corrected for number of pictures. This might take longer than we thought...

I can't WAIT to see the pictures! But I guess you will make us...

“The greatest happiness is to vanquish your enemies, to chase them before you, to rob them of their wealth, to see those dear to them bathed in tears, to clasp to your bosom their wives and daughters.” - G. Khan

"You see, their young enter through the ears and wrap themselves around the cerebral cortex. This has the effect of rendering the victim extremely susceptible to suggestion. Later, as they grow, follows madness and death." - Khan
